In life there are times when you need to just step back. For a long time crafting has become a chore and something I just
don't find any enjoyment in. So I'm taking a step back. I've boxed up all my tools and tricks and put them away so I can find
some perspective in life. Thank you for your interst, maybe I'll be back sooner than later.

Wedding Quilt








These are pictures of a quilt I made for a dear friend as a wedding gift. It took 3 months to make and I did send it out for top stitching. I really loved the pattern and it was sort of hard to part with. But I know it’s in a loving home.

I thouhgt I would show some of my holiday crafts I have made of the years. The ceramics are very special to me for some reason and the cat's stockings and door wreath were new additions this year. Enjoy.

So it has taken me two weeks to figure out how to change the header photo on this blog. I'm crafty, just not with pre-made blog sites, web sites, or anything else designed to be easy. I'm an adobe girl who likes control over where things go. But I'm learning. I'm still formulating an idea for this blog where every month will be devoted to a type of craft and then there will be several examples. I also want to add blogs on  the pit falls of some products you can purchase, where and how to spend your crafting money wisely, and well complain about how much some crafters charge for their wares. I also do sell some items at www.imsocrafty.etsy.com. And hope to make available the items you do see made on this site. Shortly after. But that just means more photo taking, editing, uploading and describing. So we'll see how it goes. Oh and I might just interject photos of my cats because well I like them and they are cute. Anyway so here's to a good holiday, a happy new year, and well a wonderful blog adventure.

Welcome to my new blog/website. I'm trying something diffrent here. Instead of having a stagnet website, I've decided to try this blog thing out. I will be posting the crafts I make and the Highs and Lows of crafting. Wish me luck. Check back in a few days. I now have to figure out how all this works.
